Galaxy digital selectable wattage ballast grow lights come with your choice of the Econowing reflector, which is constructed out of textured aluminum and offers excellent reflective and diffusion properties on a budget, The Cool Tube 6" reflector which has an enclosed glass tube designed to be power vented through ducting, or the Air Cool 6" reflector which offers excellent illumination and uniformity. The Air Cool reflector comes standard with a protective glass lens and 6" air-cool openings on both sides which allows them to be attached to duct and fan cooled. 3 year manufacturer's warranty on the reflector and ballast and 1 year on the bulb. Requires standard 120 volt outlet. The number after the model name equals the watt output of that unit.

This state-of-the-art ballast is manufactured to provide today’s serious grower with maximum flexibility & performance. The Galaxy Select-a-Watt is different than any other “dimmable” electronic ballast on the market. The Galaxy brand name carries a strong reputation of reliability and performance.
How the Galaxy Select-a-Watt feature works:

1. It will properly power a 400, 600 or 1000 watt lamp.
2. The second option for this ballast is dimming a 1000 watt lamp. Adjust the switch to 400 or 600 watts and the ballast will dim the 1000 watt lamp by 40 or 60%.
3. The Turbo Charge feature will increase the output of a 1000 watt lamp (only) by approximately 10%. You will achieve peak performance, but this may decrease your lamp life.

The 250/400w Galaxy ballast will operate a 250 or 400 watt lamp. This ballast has Turbo Charge settings for both wattages.
