Fluorescent Grow Light Bulbs
|
 What
are the differences in tubular fluorescent bulbs? Size and efficiency. The letter
'T' indicates the shape of the bulb (tubular) and the number after the
'T' represents the diameter of the bulb in eighths of an inch (A T5 bulb
is 5/8 inch). The T12 fluorescent bulb is the oldest and most common of the tubular
bulbs. It is also the least efficient. Then came the T8 fluorescent bulb which
will fit the same fixture as the T12 but uses roughly 20% less wattage to produce
the same amount of light. Now the new T5 bulb is available which will NOT
work in T12 and T8 bulb fixtures because it is shorter and has a different pin
arrangement. T5 bulbs offer even greater efficiency and a high output version
(HO) which produces about twice the amount of light as the standard T5 bulb. All
of the tubular fluorescent lights that we offer below are the high output T5 version. |

| These
economical grow lights are available in 2' and 4' models. Both include a 6500k
full spectrum bulb which promotes overall plant growth. Each includes a high
output T5 bulb, electronic ballast with 6' power cord, mounting hardware, and
daisy chain which allows multiple lights to be connected together and powered
by a single plug. 24 watt bulbs are 2,000 lumens and 54 watt bulbs are 5,000 lumens.

These fluorescent lights will provide your plants with plenty of light (up to
20% brighter than similar grow lights). Features one-touch height adjustable fixture,
on/off switch, and 5 ft. power cord. Jump Start system
includes an adjustable height hanging stand and one high output full
spectrum T5 6400K grow light fixture with bulb. Jump Start stands and
light fixtures are available separately (see below). Fixture comes with a 6' 110/120

hood to provide an excellent light source for growing plants. System includes:
Sun Blaze fixture (includes on/off switch and 12' grounded power cord), 6500k
