Order and Shipping Information
ACF Greenhouses is committed to protecting your privacy. We do not sell, rent,
barter, or let other organizations use our customer and/or email lists in any
If you are not satisfied with your purchase (see below for exceptions), just
notify us within 30 days from the date you receive your order (After 30 days,
the manufacturer's warranty applies). We will happily refund the purchase price
of your item(s) or exchange the item(s), as you wish. Shipping charges are not
refundable, and COD packages are not accepted. Damaged or
missing items noticed upon delivery should be reported promptly and will be replaced
at our expense. Returned products must be in original condition (This means
clean and dry with original packaging material, manuals, plus all other accessories
provided by the manufacturer, and gas heaters must not have been installed). Returned
items not in original condition may be assessed a restocking fee or refused.
Heater parts listed on this site can be
returned but must be unused and in original packaging to be accepted. Customers
will be charged the return shipping cost for refused or undeliverable packages
which have not been damaged. Any discounts given will be subtracted from returned

Products with Free Shipping:
Any returned item with free shipping will be charged 15% of the item's
price to cover the shipping and handling costs incurred by us.
Special Order Heater Parts: We have a
no return policy on orders for heater parts that are not listed on our site.
Cross Country Greenhouses: These are
custom made for each customer and are guaranteed to be as advertised and free
from defects. Cross Country greenhouse orders canceled more than 7 days after
they were placed may incur up to a 20% fee to compensate for labor and materials
invested in the greenhouse. Shipping charges are not refundable on canceled greenhouse
orders after they have been shipped.
Custom cut plastic and knitted
shade cloths are guaranteed to be as advertised and can only be exchanged
for the same item if damaged.

AN ITEM -
To return a product, you will need to obtain a RMA
(return merchandise authorization) number by doing one of the following.

Returns without an RMA number will not be accepted.
ACF Greenhouses is not liable for consequential or other damages including but
not limited to personal injury, damage, loss, or any other expense directly or
indirectly arising from the use of, or inability to use, the products we offer
either separately or in combination with other products. We assume no responsibility
for failure due to improper installation. All other warranties expressed or implied,
whether oral or written, including but not limited to warranties for fitness or
merchantability for a particular purpose are expressly excluded.
Credit Cards: We accept Master Card, Visa, and Discover.
Money orders, and checks are accepted also by mail (may take 3 to
4 days to clear).
When you provide a check as payment, you authorize us either to use information
from your check to make a one-time electronic fund transfer from your account

How to Place an Order Online
1. Select your purchases by clicking
button next to each item that you want to buy.
2. Enter your zip code on the next
page. This allows the shopping cart to display your shipping charges as you add
items to the cart. Your shopping cart will now display the total for your current
order including shipping.
3. Either submit your order to us
by clicking on one of the checkout options or continue to shop by clicking on
the continue shopping button.
4. When you check out, the shopping
cart will quickly guide you through the ordering process. After submitting your
order, a copy will be emailed to you for your records. When your order has been
shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information so that you can track
your order online.
*The shopping cart gives you the option of ordering
by credit card online or by printing an order and mailing it to ACF Greenhouses.
To submit credit card information you will need a browser that supports the Secure
Sockets Layer encryption (standard on most browsers).
*If you would like to use a gift certificate
with your online order, just fill out the information on the Gift
Certificate Redemption page.

If you do not want to order by credit card online, no problem! Our shopping cart
gives you the option of printing an order to be mailed to us. Add the items you
want to purchase to our shopping cart by clicking on the appropriate
button. When done, click on the Pay by Check/Money Order option. After entering
your information, click on the submit button, a printable copy of your order will
be displayed (only 50% of the order total is due for Cross Country greenhouses).

Some items sold by ACF Greenhouses are shipped directly from the manufacturer's
warehouse. While this helps us to deliver products to customers faster, it also
means that your order may consist of items from multiple locations (you could
possibly receive multiple packages arriving at different times). Below is a breakdown
of delivery methods and shipping times. ACF does not ship outside of the USA.
Item availability and prices are subject to change without notice. 5%
sales tax applies to Virginia residents. Customers will be charged $35 per instance
for any returned checks or chargebacks. An additional charge of 25% will be applied
to delinquent accounts that are turned over to collections. We reserve the right
to refuse any order we feel is fraudulent. Please

Free Shipping: Any item which we offer free
shipping is limited to the contiguous United States (This excludes AK and HI).
Please contact us for the availability and cost to ship elsewhere.
Grow lights will only be shipped to an address
listed with your credit card company. Shipping addresses can easily be added to
most credit card accounts by calling the phone number on the back of the credit
Customer Pick Up: We offer the option for customers
to pick up orders from our warehouse and save on shipping costs. Some items ship
direct and can not be picked up from our warehouse. Please call ahead to
give us time to prepare your order and verify items are in stock. VA sales tax
will apply to all pickup orders.
Figuring Shipping Charges Online
Shipping charges can easily be obtained for any item that can be ordered
online. Simply click on the
button next to the item you are interested in. Enter in your zip code, select
the appropriate shipping method, and click on the submit button (no purchase has
been made). The shipping charges and total cost for that item will appear in the
shopping cart. If you do not wish to purchase the item, just press the
button. This process can be used for multiple item orders also.
Shipment by Priority Mail
These orders are shipped by the USPS and can be shipped to any destination
in the United States that excepts postal mail. Orders are normally shipped
within 1 to 2 business days. Orders are shipped by Priority Mail service
(delivery usually takes 2
to 3 business days after order is shipped) unless otherwise stated. This
shipping option is limited on our site to small packages under 8 lbs. Delivery

Shipment by UPS Ground and 2nd Day Air
These orders are shipped by UPS and can be shipped to any destination in
the United States (except PO Boxes). Orders are normally shipped within 1
to 2 business days. Orders are shipped by Ground (delivery
usually takes 3 to 6 business days after order is shipped) unless otherwise
stated. 2nd Day Air (Guaranteed
to arrive 2 business days after it is shipped) service is guaranteed from
time of shipping, not from when the order was placed. UPS does not deliver on
Saturday or Sunday or require a signature for delivery. For more information about

UPS Additional Delivery Fee
If a customer changes their delivery address after shipment or an incorrect
shipping address is provided, UPS charges an additional $12 per package which
we pass on to the customer. Common address mistakes include:
- Using incorrect or missing important works like North, Avenue, Street, Place,
- Wrong city or incorrect zip code used.
- No apartment or suite # specified when applicable.
Online Orders: Some items shipped via 2nd Day
Air may incur dimensional weight surcharges not reflected in the online shopping
cart. You will be notified before shipping if additional charges apply.
Shipment by FREIGHT TRUCK (Items
shipped by freight truck include the following)
Freight orders can be shipped to most destinations located
in the United States (except Alaska and Hawaii). Sunshine
and Cross Country
greenhouses normally take 3 to 5 weeks to be delivered. Aspen
greenhouses and heaters are usually delivered in 1 to 2 weeks. It is the customer's
responsibility to be present at the time of delivery for residential orders (the
freight carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery day. Delivery times are
generally limited to standard business day hours). Freight trucks are only
responsible for curbside delivery. Most freight terminals only have full size
tractor trailers available to deliver with. If this size truck is unable to drive
to your address, you will probably need to have the shipment delivered to another
location. For most shipments, it is recommended that at least two people be available
to help the freight truck driver unload the shipment. Freight carriers do not
deliver on Saturday or Sunday. If you have special delivery needs, call us at
888-888-9050, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Once the carrier signs the bill of lading (receipt) they
become your agent acting on your behalf as though you were there picking up the
order yourself. The safe and careful handling of your shipment is then their
responsibility. Upon arrival at your destination, you should be aware of
some helpful steps on handling the receipt.
FREIGHT TRUCK DELIVERY
1. Count the number of pieces.
Check the number of boxes received against the number shown
on the driver's delivery sheet. If there is a shortage, write the number
of missing boxes on your copy and the driver's copy of the receipt, and have the
driver sign both copies.
2. Check the delivery for damages.
When checking for damages, it is important to look for
all visible damage such as, boxes that are crushed, dented, torn, opened, resealed,
punctured, wet, stained, and the number of boxes delivered without regard to the
"This Side Up" instructions printed on the box. Make all notations of shortages
or damages directly under the contents shipped section on all copies of the delivery
receipt. Failure to note damage on delivery receipts will cause delays in the
replacement process and possibly having to prove the damage was not done after
you received the shipment.
3. Do not refuse delivery for minor damage.
If a package is damaged, check the contents for damage before refusing delivery.
If damage appears to be minor, and only a few items need to be replaced, we recommend
accepting the shipment (or at least any undamaged packages) after making note
of damages on delivery receipt. Doing this will speed up the replacement process
in many cases because parts can be shipped sooner and faster delivery methods
can be used.
4. Contact us if you have a problem.
The guidelines above will help us to process any claims
you may have faster. Please contact us within 10 to 15 days of delivery if you
have problems with your shipment. We will work with you and the carrier
to replace any damaged or missing items as soon as possible.
