& Compact (CFL) Fluorescent Grow Lights

| Until recently,
fluorescent grow lights have had a low output and have been too big and bulky
to be of much use as a grow light for anything more than starting seedlings. These
new compact fluorescent or CFL (shown below) and T5
full spectrum fluorescent lights (shown on next page) have changed that. They
are growing in popularity for both propagation and plant growth. These lights
are energy efficient and extremely effective especially when used in numbers.
While not quite as efficient as HID lights, fluorescents have better color rendering
properties (more of the light emitted is used by the plant) and produce much less
heat when compared to HID lights. This allows them to be placed closer to plants
(within a few inches) greatly decreasing lumen loss from the bulb to the plant. |

Green Thumb CFL lights are great for helping orchids, bonsai and all houseplants
to maintain healthy growth. This grow light comes with a full spectrum 40 watt
CFL bulb and 6' power cord. The 2700k bulb provides increased output in
the red spectrum which promotes flowering in plants. The 5000K bulb is
full spectrum bulb which promotes overall plant growth. Bulbs are 2650 lumens
(Equals 150W incandescent bulb). Average CFL bulb life is 10,000 hours. Bulbs
fit into a standard medium socket. Requires 110/120 volt outlet. |

CFL grow lights are available in 125 & 200 watt models. The 2700k bulb
provides increased output in the red spectrum which promotes flowering & budding
in plants. The 6400k & 5000K bulbs are full spectrum bulb which promotes
overall plant growth. 125 watt bulbs are 8,500 lumens. 200 watt bulbs are 12,800
lumens. Average life is 10,000 hours. Requires a larger mogul fixture
or socket and 110/120 volt outlet. Size 14" x 4"

mogul socket adapter allows you to screw our 125 & 200 watt compact fluorescent
grow light bulbs (or any other CFL bulbs that have a built-in ballast and mogul
socket connector) into a standard light socket. Simply screw a compact fluorescent
light into the mogul socket end and screw the adapter into any standard household
light socket. |

prewired mogul socket is used to power our 125 & 200 watt compact fluorescent
(CFL) grow light bulbs (or any other CFL bulbs that have a mogul socket connector).
Simply screw the bulb into the socket and plug it into a standard 110/120 volt
